Ancestral Research Bureau offers clients the following specialized services:

Our research services are flexible.  They range from assisting you in locating a particular record or a group of records, to more extensive research that enables you to prove a lineage for multiple generations, as well as to establish family groupings for that lineage.

In particular, we offer the following services:

▪ We are willing to start with a minimal amount of information and to seek to prove your lineage as far back as records permit it to be traced.

▪ As trained historians with advanced degrees, we excel at documentation.

▪ We have strong backgrounds in writing and compiling family histories for anyone needing such work done.

▪ We read and are skilled at working in a number of languages, including German, French, Spanish, and Latin.  (Note that many Catholic records as late as the 19th century were still using Latin.)

▪ We have a proven track record in establishing American lineages back to the immigrant ancestor.

▪ We are also skilled at bridging the Atlantic, particularly with German-speaking and Irish ancestors.

▪ We have traveled and pursued research overseas, and will accommodate your research needs on such trips.

▪ We are willing to travel in the U.S., particularly in the states of the Midwest and American South, if your research requires such travel.

▪ We have proven ability to decipher historical records, including those written in colonial American script or German script.

▪ We are skilled at evaluating historical documents.

▪ We have strong research skills in key states of the Southeast; those skills include the use of land and court records to prove kinship connections.

▪ Our home base is Little Rock, Arkansas.  Because we live near the central records repositories in Arkansas (the state vital statistics offices, the Arkansas History Commission, and the Butler Center for Genealogical Research), we have immediate access to Arkansas records, for anyone needing research in this state.

▪ Above all, we work as a team.  That means that in hiring us, you have the combined skills and resources of three outstanding researchers.
